Q: Where are you located?
A: Our design business is centrally located in White Plains New York, right in the middle of Westchester County. Our services are by appointment only, and we come to you to best assess your living space.
Q: Do I have to take off work in order to work with an interior designer?
A: Ideally, yes. It is preferred to see your space in the best possible light, which is always during daylight hours. It’s also time well spent, whenever you invest in your home.
Q: How do you work?
A: We come to you, from the complimentary initial consultation to final installations, we bring everything to your home. We offer a broad range of products and services that will appeal to all tastes and most budgets. It is our job to interview, interpret and present the best possible design for your project. Q: Are your design services free?
A: No, our design services are not free. We offer a complimentary initial consultation to get to know you and your project, please see our How We Work Page.

Q: What happens on my first appointment?
A: Our first meeting is extremely important as it sets the tone and establishes the parameters of our working relationship. We always recommend that whoever will be involved at the decision-making level be at that first appointment. We will have you show us your space and explain to us what you are trying to accomplish with the space. We will ask lots of questions, likely about things you never thought of, but could make a difference in the final design.
Q: How do I determine a budget for my project?
A: We have guidelines that we can review with you that will provide us with a realistic dollar forecast to begin your project. It is important to note, it is a guide and may be slightly higher or lower for the finished look. We work very diligently to be sure we are all on the same page to start with, so there are no surprises.
Q: Is there a minimum or maximum project size?
A: No, there is not a minimum or maximum project size for us. We can start with window treatments for a single room, to whole house designs. Our services also include complete kitchen & bathroom renovations as well as outdoor living spaces.
Q: Will you work with my existing pieces/furnishings that are in the room?
A: Definitely, for many projects that is the starting point for the whole new look. We may make suggestions to move things to other areas or make changes to pieces that could work with the whole design.
Q: Do you shop with me in other stores?
A: No, that is not how we work. We have many Preferred Suppliers that we have vetted and can vouch for their quality and customer service, we are the “channel” of choice for many of them. There is no need to travel from store to store in search of the perfect piece for your home. Q: What’s the timeframe to get everything in?
A: Depending on the nature of the work being done, it can range from a couple of weeks to a few months for kitchens & baths or whole room projects. At the design presentation we provide you a timeline based on the pieces you have selected.
Q: Is it returnable?
A: As all the items we are bringing in are made custom for you and are one of a kind in many cases, we cannot accept returns. We take great care to ensure that everything we select is the best possible choice for your project. Should there be an issue, we will take of it immediately.
Q: Can I get a plan and shop retail?
A: This is not part of our business model as it is very difficult to determine what another supplier might provide since our plans are all done utilizing our suppliers. Everything is done with specific dimensions and scaled plans to suit your personal space. Everything fits and we cannot guarantee that from a source we don’t work with. Quality, balance and customer service are paramount to our services.
